Autoliv, the global leader in automotive safety with roughly 70,000 employees and products that save tens of thousands of lives annually, faced a complex, multi‑divisional operating model after rapid growth, M&A and legacy systems. Data was fragmented across some 40 systems (including multiple ERPs and HFM), limiting granularity and accuracy needed for Sales, Operations and Finance and preventing a complete global view of vertical profitability down to SKU level.

Autoliv implemented OneStream (with partner inlumi) for unified business planning, consolidated master‑data governance, automated reporting and Sensible ML‑enabled demand forecasting. The single platform created one source of truth and SKU‑level profitability views, transformed Finance into strategic business partners, improved agility and reduced operational costs—including lower overtime and excess inventory—and achieved a 35% MSE improvement over EDI (10% vs human‑adjusted EDI) with daily forecasts for 1,200 parts.
