P&V Insurance Lays the Groundwork for Enterprise E-Signatures

P&V Insurance, the life insurance arm of Belgium’s P&V Group, faced a major digitization challenge: paper-based signing processes prevented agents from completing life applications in a single visit and blocked end-to-end digital flows. To fix this gap as part of a wider €112 million modernization, P&V evaluated vendors and selected OneSpan and its OneSpan Sign e‑signature solution to meet requirements for scalability, security, auditability, and private‑cloud hosting.

OneSpan delivered a private‑cloud deployment of OneSpan Sign (with LuxTrust qualified timestamps) and supported API integration while P&V built a routing application to connect the Solife policy system and document repository. The combined solution lets agents complete new business interviews and e-sign in one session, cutting typical processing to 10–15 minutes, accelerating policy issuance, and earning positive agent and customer feedback — with ~150 agents live and several hundred customers e-signed within months of rollout.
