Smartpay, the largest independently owned and operated EFTPOS provider in Australasia, wanted to replace a slow, manual paper-based application process with a faster, more secure online experience for new clients. Working with OneSpan and its e-signature solution, OneSpan Sign, the company aimed to simplify applications while meeting strict bank legal and compliance requirements.
OneSpan helped Smartpay automate the process by integrating OneSpan Sign with Zoho CRM and a credit reporting service, allowing staff to launch document signing directly from CRM records and send pre-filled forms to clients for review and signature. The result was a fully compliant, white-labeled digital workflow that eliminated scanning, reduced data entry, and saved at least 45 minutes per application, while also improving follow-up efficiency, data integrity, and the overall customer experience.
