National Bank of Fujairah, a full‑service corporate bank in the UAE, needed to secure Internet banking, remote intranet access and corporate transaction approvals against fraud on public networks. To meet this challenge, National Bank of Fujairah deployed OneSpan’s DIGIPASS solution—using DIGIPASS 275 hardware tokens and DIGIPASS for Mobile—supported by the IDENTIKEY Authentication Server to add strong multi‑factor protection.
OneSpan implemented OTP and challenge/response authentication for remote access (OWA, VPN, SharePoint) and transaction signing, with branded hardware tokens and a mobile app option; OneSpan’s Professional Services handled the integration quickly and on budget. The result was rapid rollout of two‑factor authentication, improved customer satisfaction and a stronger deterrent to interception and fraud through one‑time passwords and secure challenge/response verification.
