Direct Energy, the largest energy retailer in North America with more than six million customers and roughly 240,000 new customer sign-ups annually, faced a major field-sales challenge: door-to-door reps using paper contracts lost about 50% of sales and cost the company $1.2M a year. To digitize and secure mobile sales in 13 states plus DC, Direct Energy selected OneSpan and implemented the OneSpan Sign Enterprise Plan to capture hand-scripted signatures in its iOS sales app.
OneSpan integrated OneSpan Sign directly into Direct Energy’s mobile app and Salesforce with white-labeling, completing implementation in 48 days and rolling the solution out to 350 reps in one week.
