Jaiz Bank protects online banking customers from fraudulent transactions

Jaiz Bank, a fast-growing non-interest bank in Nigeria, needed to protect online banking customers from credential theft and meet strict PCI DSS and ISO 27001 requirements. After evaluating two‑factor options, Jaiz Bank selected OneSpan’s DIGIPASS GO 6 tokens together with a VACMAN Controller (implemented via partner MAXUT Consulting) to deliver scalable, user-friendly strong authentication.

MAXUT planned, integrated and supported the OneSpan solution so the bank could deploy DIGIPASS GO 6 devices and the VACMAN Controller to the back end. The OneSpan implementation was completed smoothly on schedule—more than 10,000 retail customers received tokens—with high user acceptance, minimal issues, reduced operational burden for IT and enhanced protection against fraudulent transactions.
