Akyla, a Dutch HR software provider serving staffing agencies across the Benelux and Nordics, needed a faster, more secure way to handle the huge volume of employment-related documents its clients send for signing. Paper and postal mail were too slow and cumbersome for tens of thousands of contracts, handbooks, tax forms, and insurance documents each year.

Akyla implemented OneSpan’s e-signature service, using its API, white-label branding options, and a two-step authentication flow with email, password, and SMS PIN for secure remote signing. The integration took less than a month and just two weeks of hands-on work, while helping Akyla manage about 25,000 documents by late 2015 with expectations of 5x growth by 2017; according to Akyla, OneSpan gave it a competitive edge and improved efficiency for customers.
