Omaha National sought an integrated, web-based system to support policy, billing, claims, loss prevention and medical case management for workers’ compensation across the United States. To gain better reporting, centralized workflows and reduced manual work, Omaha National selected OneShield and its OneShield Market Solutions (OMS) "As‑A‑Service" cloud platform to meet those enterprise-wide requirements.
OneShield implemented a cloud-based OMS solution that unified and automated policy, billing and claims handling, introduced a configurable rules engine, enabled paperless file management and connected to third-party data via APIs/XML. As a result, OneShield had the OMS service up and running for testing within weeks of contract signing, accelerating workflows, reducing manual tasks and risk, and enabling Omaha National to rapidly expand and roll out services across jurisdictions.
