Lighthouse Academies (LHA) is a national nonprofit charter school network serving students who might otherwise face limited opportunities. When CIO/CTO Casey Muse joined in 2016, LHA faced a fragmented, manual identity environment—multiple student information systems, disconnected on‑prem Active Directory servers across independent school charters, and no scalable way to provision thousands of student and staff accounts.

LHA implemented OneLogin’s Active Directory Connector and cloud directory to sync identities nightly from local ADs, creating a single global view and automating provisioning across key apps (Office 365, G Suite, Box, Google Classroom, etc.). The result: support for over 7,000 accounts with under two hours a day spent on identity management, dramatically reduced helpdesk burden, and faster, more productive operations.
