Berklee Orchestrates App Integration, Adds Services for Alumni Community with OneLogin

Berklee College of Music — home to 61,000 users including 55,000 alumni and 6,000 students, faculty and staff — needed a modern, low-maintenance way to unify access across multiple cloud apps and expand services for its global alumni community. The Digital Strategy, Information Security and Systems teams wanted single sign-on (SSO), easy integration with Google accounts, and a solution that reduced infrastructure overhead compared with open-source options.

Berklee selected OneLogin as an IDaaS to provide SAML-based SSO, Google-directory and social-login support, and seamless integration with apps like WebEx, Symplicity, Parchment and Lynda.com, plus CloudLock for security monitoring. The rollout delivered widespread user adoption, flexible login options (email or username), simpler app provisioning, and new alumni services — online transcripts, a notification center and career tools — strengthening alumni engagement and simplifying identity management.
