A ONELAN Case Study
The University of Warwick, a leading UK university founded in 1965, wanted to extend the reach of its initial outdoor digital signage to a campus‑wide network spanning some 40 departments and the new £19m Oculus building. After successful trials with ONELAN, the University sought a solution that would deliver timely, relevant information to diverse audiences while preserving local control of screens and enabling central administration.
ONELAN supplied an integrated platform using the ONELAN CMS, Reserva Room Signage, wayfinding kiosks and live feed/widgets (with integrations to Scientia Syllabus Plus and Echo360) so marketing could publish global content while departments managed local playlists. The ONELAN solution reduced administrative resource load, put live timetables and a 16k video‑wall dashboard in the Oculus, improved room utilisation (rooms previously left empty are now used to full capacity), cut disturbances with LED occupancy indicators, and surfaced live energy data to support sustainability initiatives.
