University of Copenhagen - Customer Case Study

The University of Copenhagen deployed the new 15‑storey Mærsk Tower to house research departments, teaching spaces and conferencing facilities for some 2,500 students, and needed a way to maximise occupancy and replace a time‑consuming paper booking system while providing up‑to‑date room schedules at a glance. After evaluating options the University selected Reserva Room Signage from ONELAN for its intuitive interface, on‑premise hosting, lack of recurring licence fees and the ability to integrate with existing timetabling systems.

ONELAN implemented a Reserva network of over 90 PoE 10" room‑sign screens across the building, integrated with Scientia’s Syllabus Plus for live timetable updates and with Microsoft Exchange for non‑teaching bookings, and deployed ONELAN’s Enterprise CMS for campus digital signage. The solution delivers real‑time room information, reduced administrative effort, higher student and staff satisfaction and better utilisation of rooms, while remaining cost‑effective over the system’s lifetime.
