The Hastings Academy needed an easy-to-use, stable digital signage and immersive AV solution to support a new 270° projection space (5m x 5m), large outdoor projections and a creatively shaped, interactive video wall that could share content with its sister campus in St Leonards-on-Sea. ONELAN was chosen to provide the digital signage platform, with ONELAN Net-Top-Box (NTB) 6000 media players selected for their reliability and suitability for non-technical staff.

Using ONELAN NTB 6000 players (with Datapath multi-screen controllers and projector hard-edge blending), the integrator delivered the 270° immersive environment, outdoor projection areas, a bespoke video wall and distributed signage—twelve screens around campus and a further twelve at the sister site—driven from a single ONELAN publisher. The ONELAN system provides editable templates, simple iPad controls for instant immersive backdrops, and an automated 3:15pm videoconference trigger, yielding reliable, low‑effort operation, richer teaching spaces and seamless cross-campus collaboration.
