St Aidan’s Academy - Customer Case Study

St Aidan’s Academy, a Church of England secondary school serving about 700 11–16-year-olds, needed a more effective way to communicate with staff, students and visitors and to let individual departments promote activities. They selected ONELAN’s digital signage solution, deploying Net-Top-Boxes (NTB615 Publisher and NTB610 Subscribers) and Channel Manager to run signage and streaming across the site.

ONELAN installed one NTB615 Publisher in the server room and eleven NTB610 Subscriber units driving 14 LCD screens in reception, library, canteens and communal areas, with Channel Manager and a third‑party IPTV service for VOD; the system is centrally managed with local hub managers. The result: ONELAN transformed school communications into a user‑friendly, distributed platform—multiple staff now actively control the screens to display menus, exam timetables, student presentations, photos and videos—improving engagement and visibility across the academy.
