Kiwibank, a New Zealand bank co-located inside New Zealand Post branches, needed a way to modernize compact retail sites, inform and educate customers, and clearly differentiate the Kiwibank and NZ Post brands while allowing both marketing teams to operate on a single system. To address limited branch space and a desire for a more open, customer-friendly layout, Kiwibank engaged ONELAN to supply a digital signage network and Content Management System (CMS).
ONELAN deployed a managed digital signage solution—six CMS channels for the retail transformation stores, two outdoor-facing high-bright 46" displays per branch, and six indoor players (three per brand)—plus integrated music distribution (one player per store serving a 1,700-song library to two speaker zones). The ONELAN CMS’ roles and permissions let NZ Post and Kiwibank control their own playlists without interference; signage now promotes services, attracts passersby, and informs customers, and the refurbished branches are reported as more inviting, professional and successful following the rollout.
