Hands-on Digital Signage Solution from ONELAN

Scots College, an independent day and boarding school in Wellington, required an easy-to-use digital signage system that integrated with its network to display diverse, up-to-date content to staff, students and visitors as part of a major campus development. After evaluating options, Scots chose ONELAN’s Net-Top-Boxes (NTBs) for their content flexibility, instant messaging and scheduling features.

ONELAN installed six NTB 610 units paired with six Mitsubishi 42" LCD displays (one NTB per screen), enabling unique content per screen such as photos, student work, timetables, PowerPoint presentations, news reels and RSS notices; house-specific layouts allow students and staff to update outdoor screens directly. The ONELAN solution has improved campus communication and content management, and Scots has been impressed with the devices’ functionality, support and plans to expand the system.
