GoSaariselkä - Customer Case Study

GoSaariselkä, the tourist organisation for Saariselkä in Northern Lapland, needed a way to publicise its services and activities reliably in extreme arctic conditions (down to −40°C). They selected ONELAN (installed by Avek Esitysratkaisut Ltd) and its ONELAN Net Top Box (NTB) 630 media players to power a touch-enabled kiosk—claimed to be the most northern touch info screen in the world.

Avek deployed two ONELAN NTB 630s driving dual 46" portrait screens (one touch) on a two-sided kiosk with ONELAN-configured software, enabling fast installation, multi-zone content and automatic updates. The kiosk has operated continuously for over a year without needing restarts in freezing conditions, ONELAN technical support has been responsive, and GoSaariselkä reports minimized integration risk, quick deployment and reliable performance.
