Autotrader, the UK’s leading site for buying and selling cars with over 350,000 listings and 11.5 million unique monthly users, needed a digital signage solution at its new Manchester office to communicate brand and company values to staff, provide real-time monitoring for Product and Technology squads, surface KPIs across departments (including data without full API access), and deliver promotional messaging to visitors via both passive and interactive touch displays. Autotrader selected ONELAN for its simplicity and single-platform support for signage and touch, plus managed services from onemedia.
ONELAN implemented an ONELAN CMS with 70 ONELAN Net-top-box (NTB) 630-mini subscriber players (15 with touch capability), enabling tiled screens, touch-to-enlarge monitoring views, and password-protected web playlists. The deployment reduced the number of physical screens and management overhead, improved real-time visibility for squads, and increased troubleshooting focus—teams can split screens into four live tiles and instantly enlarge any problematic feed to investigate root cause.
