Texas State University Bobcat Club, the primary fundraising arm for Texas State University Athletics, needed a modern way to replace paper-based silent auction tracking and better engage donors at its annual Bobcat Bonanza. The club researched options and selected OneCause’s mobile bidding software and event platform to streamline bidding and donor interactions.

Using OneCause to power the Bonanza Giving Center, mobile bidding, registration/checkout, text communications and even stadium scoreboard integration, the Bobcat Club expanded the event onto the field and dramatically increased fundraising. By 2016 the event raised about $500,000 with 750 supporters (up from $20,000 and 200 attendees in 2009), auction bids rose 84% since 2013, and OneCause analytics now drive donor insights and lead generation.
