Sunrise Was Able to Raise Over 1 Million Dollars in a Virtual World

Sunrise Association faced the challenge of replacing three postponed fundraising events and engaging donors in a virtual setting while continuing to support children served by its mission. With help from OneCause and its virtual fundraising software, including Mobile Bidding, Sunrise launched the “SunriseLIVE” livestream event to combine multiple events into one compelling online experience.

OneCause helped Sunrise Association deliver a mission-driven program with livestream entertainment, silent auction bidding, donation appeals, and real-time reporting. The event resonated so strongly with donors that Sunrise had to raise its fundraising goal three times during the night, and the campaign ultimately helped Sunrise raise over $1 million.
