Marklund Golf Classic, Creating the Ultimate Golf Experience with OneCause

Marklund, a nonprofit that supports people with profound disabilities, needed to grow revenue and boost engagement for its long-running charity event, the Marklund Golf Classic. To modernize the experience and make giving easy and fun, they partnered with OneCause and adopted OneCause Mobile Bidding and the OneCause event platform for pre-event ticketing, activity packages, and on-site mobile purchases.

Using OneCause technology, Marklund sold pre-event tickets and add-on experiences, ran on-course contests and a helicopter ball drop raffle via mobile bidding, and offered an “All Activity Access Pass” to drive impulse purchases. The results: nearly $200,000 in net proceeds at the 37th Annual Golf Classic, $40,720 from auctions/donations/fixed-price items, 200 silent-auction bids, $12,085 from on-course activities, and deeper engagement with over 220 supporters — all enabled by OneCause.
