Indianapolis Children’s Choir, a 34‑year nonprofit focused on music and education, wanted to expand beyond traditional event fundraising and tap social and peer‑to‑peer giving for their inaugural Sing‑A‑Thon. After using OneCause auction software for galas, they chose the OneCause peer‑to‑peer platform to add a new campaign without overtaxing a small staff while engaging students, teachers, volunteers, board members and donors.
OneCause delivered a customizable campaign home page, easy team and participant pages, built‑in impact statements, and Facebook/live‑stream integration that made fundraising personal and simple. Using OneCause, the Choir mobilized 16 teams (16 individual participants), collected 275 donations, and raised 105% of their $25,000 goal—exceeding the target and strengthening their culture of philanthropy.
