March of Dimes needed a better way to manage live appeals at fundraising events, where donations arrive quickly and recognizing every donor can be difficult. Using the OneCause Fundraising Platform, the organization wanted to improve donor engagement, personalize recognition, and drive more revenue across its nationwide events.
OneCause implemented the Spotter Tool within its fundraising platform to help March of Dimes identify paddle numbers, display donor names on the event scoreboard, and alert staff to major donors so no gift went unnoticed. As a result, March of Dimes increased the impact of donation moments, built momentum during appeals, and saw night-of-event revenue increase, strengthening donor connection and overall fundraising outcomes.
