Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville Adding Virtual to Their Postponed Event

Boys & Girls Club of Noblesville had to postpone its annual March 2020 fundraiser and quickly needed a way to raise funds virtually. Working with OneCause — including support from a OneCause Virtual Event Manager — the organization moved much of its program online (online auction, raffles, and donations) to keep supporters engaged and maintain revenue despite the delay.

OneCause helped transition 95 of 140 donated items to an online auction, ran raffles and online donation drives, and supported promotion and logistics (shortened close time, item delivery, covered credit card fees, etc.). The results: 643 bids (4.5 bids per item), 81% of items sold, 1,034 supporters, a 57% growth in the silent auction over last year, an average donation of $263, and $1,260 in raffle ticket sales.
