Ambassador Fundraising™ Alamance Foundation Belle of the Ball

Alamance Regional Charitable Foundation of North Carolina, organizer of the Black and White Ball, needed a way to refresh its signature gala, better track proceeds raised by seven “Belles,” and expand social engagement with a small (1.5-person) team. To do this the Foundation partnered with OneCause, using OneCause’s Peer-to-Peer platform and mobile bidding technology to enable Ambassador Fundraising and integrate new supporters into the event.

OneCause implemented custom participant pages, leaderboards, milestone communications, easy registration and social sharing so Ambassadors could run competitive peer-to-peer campaigns and host pre-event fundraisers. The results: OneCause-powered Ambassador Fundraising produced $179,760 (a 24.2% increase over the prior year), 827 donations, 380 ticket/sponsorship sales, and a top Belle raise of $56,605.
