How SafeWork NSW and the SaFE Mobility application opened critical business systems to Inspectors in the field

SafeWork NSW struggled with a manual, paper‑based inspection workflow that forced inspectors to spend roughly two days per week on administrative tasks, delayed access to client records on site, and created duplicate data entry. To solve this, SafeWork NSW partnered with OneBlink to deploy the SaFE Mobility application, aiming to give inspectors mobile, on- and offline access to critical business systems and client history.

OneBlink’s SaFE Mobility solution provided single-capture job entry, offline functionality, photo uploads, on‑device reports and notes, and direct record-keeping into TRIM. The app eliminated paper duplication, enabled inspectors to share safety information with customers immediately, and reclaimed field time for inspections — a pilot of 36 inspectors launched in July 2016 and the solution was rolled out to 400 users within 12 months, with several processes completely replaced. OneBlink continues to work with SafeWork NSW to expand job types, improve usability and drive adoption.
