How Onsite Rentals mobilised and optimised their workforce

Onsite Rental Group, a large equipment hire company with around 500 employees across 31 regional offices, faced a need to replace paper-based worksheets, mobilise field workflows, and deliver a multi-user, quick-to-deploy solution without overburdening its small IT team. To achieve this they selected Acresta to develop the solution on OneBlink’s Enterprise/Blink Mobility Platform, targeting hired equipment inspections and portable-toilet servicing.

Using OneBlink’s platform, Acresta built two activity-based mobile apps (POC in 1.5 days; full apps delivered within four weeks) that integrate with Onsite’s ERP and Active Directory, work offline, capture GPS and barcode data, and streamline dispatch and routing. The OneBlink-based solution cut travel costs by 20%, delivered at least A$200,000 per year savings from the toilet app, improved service and maintenance cycles by 20% (moving processes from up to two weeks to real time), freed four staff for higher-value roles, and materially improved customer engagement and risk management.
