How Lismore City Council mobilised and optimised their workforce

Lismore City Council faced inefficient, paper-based field recordkeeping across its extensive water, waste and asset maintenance operations, which made data inaccurate and kept staff tied to the office. To modernise mobile data collection, the council adopted OneBlink’s Blink Mobility Platform (implemented with Acresta) to replace paper forms with digital, device-agnostic forms for field crews.

OneBlink’s Blink Mobility Platform and Blink Forms were integrated into the council’s Mex work-order backend, with secure controllers enabling offline use, automated pre-fill/post-fill logic and automatic archiving to TRIM. The solution freed supervisors for more on-site work, mobilised all field processes on a single device, and delivered clear outcomes — including achieving 100% Work Health & Safety form completion and faster work-order tracking — prompting rollout across additional council departments.
