Devlyn, the largest optical retail group in Mexico, faced a critical inventory management challenge. With COVID-19 restrictions reducing store traffic, slow-moving products accumulated, leading to cash flow problems and a situation where 55% of their store inventory was aged beyond 180 days. The vendor Onebeat implemented its FLOW solution with an Adaptive Assortment Management module to address this. The system automated the identification and transfer of aged inventory to stores where it could sell, prioritized replenishment for top-performing products, and ensured optimal assortment levels. This resulted in a 73% average sell-through, a 26% reduction in aged inventory, and a 125% improvement in the availability of top sellers.
