Lou Lou Boutique, a DC-area accessories retailer that grew from 2 stores in 2004 to 14 locations nine years later, faced challenges managing inventory and product movement across multiple sites. To gain a comprehensive multi-store view and prepare for further expansion, Lou Lou worked with One Step Retail Solutions and moved from QuickBooks Point of Sale to NCR CounterPoint.

One Step Retail Solutions implemented NCR CounterPoint as Lou Lou’s central POS and inventory system, providing hands-on support through the bumpy implementation and ongoing training. The solution sped up checkout with customizable “hot buttons,” improved inventory visibility and transfer tracking, helped detect and reduce theft, and supported continued expansion—contributing to Lou Lou’s growth to 14 stores and the opening of two new locations.
