University raises the grade on securing privileged accounts

Quinnipiac University, a U.S. higher-education institution facing rapid growth, campus expansion and high user turnover, needed better visibility and control over privileged accounts. To address this, CISO Brian Kelly selected One Identity’s Privileged Access Management Solutions and engaged One Identity Services to replace home-grown tools and secure privileged access.

One Identity implemented automated privileged-account and password management, session recording and onboarding workshops to get administrators on board. The solution gave Quinnipiac the privileged-account visibility it previously lacked, strengthened controls to reduce malware risk, raised admin security awareness, and shortened PCI audit time by two weeks.
