A One Identity Case Study
UkrSibbank, a major Ukrainian bank with 5,000+ employees, faced growing administrative overhead and risk as it managed user accounts across a heterogeneous environment of Microsoft Active Directory and Unix systems; adding new Unix servers increased manual account configuration and the potential for service disruption. To address this, the bank evaluated and selected One Identity and its One Identity Authentication Services to simplify authentication and centralize account management.
One Identity implemented Authentication Services to make Unix/Linux systems full members of the Active Directory domain using Kerberos authentication and to enable group-policy–based management (integrated with MMC), automating account provisioning and access rules. As a result, UkrSibbank achieved centralized account control, reduced downtime and administrative effort, and — according to the bank — saved about 100 staff-days of work per year after deploying One Identity.
