Case Study: Transavia achieves automated seasonal onboarding and near-zero provisioning errors with One Identity Active Roles

A One Identity Case Study

Preview of the Transavia Case Study

Transavia automatically onboards hundreds of additional staff over the summer months thanks to solutions from One Identity

Transavia, the Dutch airline, faced a seasonal identity-management challenge—hiring roughly 400 extra staff each summer who needed rapid access to apps and systems. Manual provisioning took 10–15 minutes per user and incurred a 20–30% error rate, so Transavia engaged One Identity and chose Active Roles (with support from One Identity Services) to streamline its user identity lifecycle.

One Identity implemented Active Roles to automate account creation, modification and removal across Transavia’s hybrid Active Directory and Azure AD while One Identity Services provided ongoing consultancy. The solution saves up to 10 minutes per user, reduces errors to near zero, handles 1,500–2,000 role changes annually and eliminates the need for an estimated 1–2 FTE on the service desk, all while supporting Transavia’s move to the cloud.
