SKY saves time and money with centralised identity management

Sky, Europe’s leading entertainment company, needed a centralised identity service to manage profiles for its ~25,700 employees and support ongoing international growth. After evaluating vendors, Sky selected One Identity to deliver its myID platform, built on One Identity Identity Manager and Password Manager, to replace fragmented, locally managed IAM systems and simplify provisioning, deprovisioning and password services.

One Identity implemented myID across Sky’s corporate estate (live within five months), giving roughly 500 managers a single web portal to manage about 15,000 end users and enabling self‑service password reset and synchronized credentials. The One Identity solution automated lifecycle processes, improved the quality of user data for better access decisions, eased PCI compliance through centralised controls, reduced manual effort and support costs, and positioned Sky for smoother international expansion.
