Security that protects more than just data and money

The Alliance, a global nonprofit with staff serving in more than 80 countries, needed a way to give international workers secure, anonymous access to email and applications while centralizing identity and financial workflows and reducing technical complexity. After evaluating options, The Alliance selected One Identity—deploying Cloud Access Manager, Defender and Privileged Password Manager—to build a generically branded, centrally managed portal that preserves staff anonymity and simplifies access.

One Identity implemented a proxy‑managed portal integrated with Active Directory so employees can securely access Office 365 and budgeting systems, with Defender providing multifactor options (including hardware tokens) and Password Manager handling resets. The solution, deployed with EST Group, now covers about 70% of employees, protects physical and digital identities, consolidates workflows for better collaboration and audit-ready financial records, and increases agility in meeting changing security requirements.
