Regulatory Compliance at the Largest Bank of Ukraine

PrivatBank, Ukraine’s largest commercial bank, needed to tighten controls over privileged access to comply with PCI DSS and National Bank of Ukraine regulations and to protect cardholder and customer data. To manage and record remote activity of system administrators, the bank selected One Identity’s Safeguard for Privileged Sessions as its Privileged Access Management solution.

One Identity delivered a turnkey Safeguard for Privileged Sessions appliance that PrivatBank deployed in production in four weeks without external support. The system now monitors 40 administrative users, controls access to 20 critical Windows and Linux servers, provides movie‑style session recordings and granular access controls, and helped PrivatBank meet regulatory requirements while strengthening its overall security posture.
