Case Study: Danish Refugee Council achieves 1-hour provisioning and stronger security with One Identity Active Roles

A One Identity Case Study

Preview of the Danish Refugee Council Case Study

Protecting the data of refugees and those who help them

The Danish Refugee Council (DRC), a nonprofit with about 7,000 employees operating in more than 30 countries, needed a way to consistently manage global IT and data access, speed up provisioning, meet data-protection regulations and reduce costs. After evaluating options, DRC chose One Identity and deployed One Identity Active Roles to centralize and standardize Active Directory management.

One Identity’s Active Roles provided user templates and automated identity workflows tied to HR changes, giving DRC greater control and visibility over who can access which systems and who made changes. The solution cut provisioning from two–three days to about one hour, simplified GDPR compliance through traceability, standardized delegation, and saved at least 10,000 hours of administrative effort annually, while reducing costs and boosting operational efficiency.
