Magnit, one of Russia’s largest retailers (FY2019 sales 1.37 trillion rubles, ~300,000 employees and more than 21,000 locations), needed to protect vast volumes of financial and employee data from attackers who exploit privileged user accounts. The One Identity deployment increased visibility into privileged access, improved threat detection and mitigation response times, enabled secure remote work at scale during the COVID‑19 shift, and helped Magnit investigate incidents and prevent leaks even as remote‑access sessions surged.
