Orange România needed a way to audit privileged remote access to sensitive telecom systems used by employees, consultants, and suppliers. The company wanted a tool that would work transparently with existing client applications, scale with demand, support OCR and indexing for graphical protocols, control file transfers, and remain easy to configure and use. Orange evaluated One Identity Safeguard for Privileged Sessions alongside two competitive products.

Orange România chose One Identity Safeguard for Privileged Sessions for its transparency and audit trail search capabilities. The solution was deployed to audit access from 10 external suppliers and consultants, and in a second environment it was used in a high-availability cluster to audit privileged access to the billing system and 18,000 devices. Orange said the product enabled OCR-based free-text search in audit trails, did not require users to change how they connected, and made bypassing the audit system almost impossible.
