Case Study: Oman LNG achieves 90% more efficient access management — onboarding in hours, not days — with One Identity

A One Identity Case Study

Preview of the Oman LNG Case Study

Oman LNG makes access management 90 per cent more efficient, enabling user onboarding in hours instead of days

Oman LNG, a leading liquefied natural gas provider with 1,500 network users, faced slow, manual access management: provisioning could take up to three days, password resets created frequent helpdesk bottlenecks, and uncontrolled Active Directory (AD) admin rights risked non‑compliance. To address these challenges it engaged One Identity (via partner Amal IT) to evaluate and deploy identity and access management tools, specifically Active Roles and Password Manager.

One Identity implemented Active Roles and Password Manager (deployment completed in three weeks), automating user lifecycle workflows, enabling password self‑service, and tightening AD administrative rights. As a result, Oman LNG increased access management efficiency by 90%, reduced onboarding to hours instead of days, cut helpdesk load from password issues, and ensured daily AD syncs and compliance across the organisation.
