Case Study: Bouygues Telecom achieves centralized privileged access control and regulatory traceability with One Identity's Safeguard for Privileged Sessions

A One Identity Case Study

Preview of the Bouygues Telecom Case Study

Leading telecom provider secures privileged access to more than 18,000 network devices and servers

Bouygues Telecom, a major telecom operator serving millions of mobile and broadband customers, needed to centralize and secure administrative access across its estate while meeting regulatory traceability requirements. Existing jump-host and remote access architectures lacked centralized policy, detailed logging and effective password management, so Bouygues Telecom selected One Identity’s Safeguard for Privileged Sessions to manage privileged accounts and control administrators’ access to network equipment.

One Identity deployed Safeguard for Privileged Sessions to broker and record access to some 18,000 devices (routers, switches, Unix/Windows servers and core mobile/voice systems), providing centralized policy, password management and support for many protocols (SSH, RDP, VNC, Telnet, Citrix). The solution scales to heavy loads (about 400 SSH and 100 RDP concurrent connections per appliance), delivered stronger access control and regulatory traceability, and added searchable session recordings via OCR—helping Bouygues Telecom improve privileged-account security and meet compliance goals.
