Johnson Matthey, a FTSE 100 chemicals and precious metals company with around 10,000 employees, faced a tight deadline to consolidate 27 Active Directory (AD) forests into a single AD while maintaining local admin delegation and meeting security/audit requirements. To manage the new directory, Johnson Matthey selected One Identity Active Roles and engaged migration and auditing tools to support the consolidation effort.

One Identity’s Active Roles was implemented to enforce policies, provide delegated administration and automate user management, while Migration Manager for Active Directory and Change Auditor for Active Directory handled the migration and change auditing.
