Case Study: JYSK Nordic eliminates Active Directory chaos and cuts service calls with One Identity Active Roles

A One Identity Case Study

Preview of the JYSK Nordic Case Study

International retailer, JYSK, eliminates AD issues with Active Roles

JYSK Nordic, a Denmark-based home goods retailer with more than 10,000 employees across 1,000 stores in 19 countries, faced a chaotic Active Directory environment with an unruly number of domain admins, inconsistent naming conventions, and time-consuming, phone‑based provisioning processes. To regain control and standardize AD management, JYSK evaluated solutions and selected One Identity’s Active Roles.

One Identity implemented Active Roles across JYSK’s service centres, providing single‑page user views, approval workflows, and delegated provisioning so local teams can create, change and deprovision accounts without HQ intervention. The deployment cut calls to the service centre, enabled a four‑person team to more easily manage a 450‑server environment, eliminated unnecessary domain admin accounts, and was rolled out across all 19 countries—delivering faster changes and reduced reliance on external consultants.
