Improving identity management and patient access

DASA, one of the largest diagnostic laboratories in the world with about 20,000 employees and 20 million tests monthly, needed more security and faster, more flexible patient and staff access across 100+ systems. To automate credential and identity processes and reduce manual overhead, DASA chose One Identity and deployed its Identity Manager solution.

One Identity implemented a phased IAM rollout—starting with self-service password reset and a password vault and moving to full identity lifecycle management and provisioning—automating user profile creation, passwords and access provisioning. As a result, DASA cut new profile setup from five days to about one hour, strengthened access control across business and IT environments, improved protection of patient test results, and reduced risk of fraud.
