Leading Network Provider, a major datacenter and cloud services operator, faced strict ISO27001 and local regulatory requirements and needed better visibility into administrator actions because existing logs did not show command execution. The company sought an easy-to-use session-replay GUI, the ability to detect malicious third-party administrators, and faster incident detection and response, and selected One Identity’s Safeguard for Privileged Sessions to meet these needs.

One Identity deployed Safeguard for Privileged Sessions as a turnkey network appliance in transparent router mode, recording multiprotocol sessions (SSH, RDP, HTTPS, Telnet), enforcing “4-eyes” authorization, and routing all administrative access through the appliance. The solution was quickly implemented, now protects 40–50 servers and network devices and supports 10 concurrent admin connections, and delivered faster compliance, tighter change control, lower troubleshooting costs and reduced incident response time for the Leading Network Provider.
