Case Study: Franke achieves global identity control and automated provisioning with One Identity

A One Identity Case Study

Preview of the Franke Case Study

Franke gains control of identity management

Franke, a global manufacturer based in Switzerland with 9,000 employees across 66 legal entities in 40 countries, faced fragmented HR and IT systems, orphaned accounts and labor‑intensive onboarding/offboarding that increased security risk and slowed access to cloud and on‑premise applications. To establish a single source of truth and automate identity lifecycle, Franke engaged Devoteam and implemented One Identity’s Identity Manager.

One Identity’s Identity Manager consolidated employee data, automated cross‑domain provisioning/de‑provisioning, enabled self‑service password resets and streamlined access attestation across systems like AD, SAP, Google, SuccessFactors and Concur. The deployment gave Franke nearly 100% control of on‑boarded user accounts, removed many orphaned accounts, reduced security risk and turned processes such as a subsidiary domain‑name change from weeks into minutes.
