B. Braun automates IAM for greater security and compliance

B. Braun, a global healthcare manufacturer based in Melsungen, Germany with more than 61,000 employees, faced mounting security, compliance and access-control challenges as it moved to a hybrid IT environment. Manual account provisioning and deprovisioning increased delays and the risk of unauthorized access, so B. Braun engaged One Identity to run a proof of concept for Identity Manager and assess a full implementation.

One Identity implemented Identity Manager with support from One Identity Services to automate account creation and termination across cloud and on-prem systems. The deployment improved security and compliance, reduced errors and administrative time, provided transparent workflows for access requests, and protected company data in the hybrid environment; the solution is rolling out in Germany and Switzerland with a global rollout planned, enabling B. Braun’s cloud‑IT strategy.
