Lamoda Group, the leading online fashion and lifestyle platform in Russia and the CIS, struggled with a proprietary IAM setup that was complex to manage, required vendor involvement for minor changes, produced slow access-change turnaround, and relied on manual processes that increased error and compliance risk—onboarding new starters could take up to one month. One Identity used One Identity Manager to automate IAM, shift Lamoda from a systems-role to a business-role model, and deploy a self-service online portal; as a result, employees now receive full privileges on their first day instead of waiting up to a month, the 10–60 daily access requests are handled through the self-serve IT shop, IT can make changes faster, and improved reporting and reconciliation have reduced errors and non-compliance.
