Case Study: Jumbo Supermarkets cuts IAM costs and gains 24/7 monitoring with One Identity

A One Identity Case Study

Preview of the Jumbo Supermarkets Case Study

Automating identity and access management to reduce costs

Jumbo Supermarkets, the Netherlands’ second-largest chain with 700 stores and 60,000 staff, needed to simplify and cut the cost of managing identities for a highly seasonal workforce and high store turnover. The retailer had already invested in One Identity’s One Identity Manager and sought a way to automate IAM processes while preserving security and governance.

One Identity, working with partner The Identity Managers and AspisID’s Argos monitoring service, implemented an outsourced, automated One Identity Manager solution with 24/7 monitoring, automated alerts, quotas and dashboards. The setup improved incident detection and resolution (including overnight HR-load failures), supported a small team managing a large user base, maintained compliance, and delivered 24/7 monitoring “without a big increase in costs,” reducing technical support overhead so savings can be passed back to customers.
