Saudi Readymix Concrete Co publishes 54 EPDs with One Click LCA

Saudi Readymix Concrete Co., a leading ready-mixed concrete producer in Saudi Arabia, faced the challenge of efficiently creating Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for its vast portfolio of thousands of concrete mixes to meet rising client and regulatory demands for sustainability. The company needed a solution to move beyond relying on external consultants and combat unsubstantiated environmental claims in the market. They turned to the vendor One Click LCA and its EPD Generator tool to build in-house expertise.

Using One Click LCA's software, Saudi Readymix gained the ability to produce verified EPDs rapidly and reliably, completing tasks that previously took days in just one to two days. This solution enabled them to publish 54 EPDs in-house since early 2024, which directly helped them secure new projects. A key measurable result was achieving an embodied carbon intensity of 229 kgCO₂e/m³ for a major NEOM project, a significant reduction from conventional concrete. The work with One Click LCA positioned Saudi Readymix as a sustainability leader and supported Saudi Arabia's national decarbonization goals.
